Trail Description

We will depart from Barra da Lagoa, crossing the Canal da Barra bridge. Climbing the hill, our first stop will be at the viewpoint facing the sea, offering an immense view of the horizon and also sighting Xavier Island.

Continuing along the hilltop with the trail passing through small forested sections, our next stop will be at Pedra da Boa Vista, providing a unique view where you can see the beaches and hills to the south of Florianópolis. From here, you can also spot Lagoa da Conceição and the Dunes. At this point, we are practically in the center of the distance from the north to the south of Santa Catarina Island on the east side.

After this fantastic view, we will begin our descent towards Galheta Beach. This beach is located within the Galheta Natural Park, where we will have around 20 minutes for a delightful swim in the sea.

Next, we will take the trail towards the neighboring Praia Mole, a paradise beach for surfers, where we will conclude the journey at Lay Back/Selina.

For those returning to Barra da Lagoa, there are options for urban buses or Uber, at the participant’s own expense.
